Cooling vortex tubes

Aireka Cooling Vortex Tubes – Series VR / VRG

Outstanding performance, optimized technical features, wide range, and customized versions

The VR/VRX series pneumatic coolers are state-of-the-art compressed-air cooling solutions operating on the vortex tube principle. They offer excellent airflow performance and ΔT values, a well-thought-out design, and mounting accessories that enable highly versatile installation.

When combined with the patented AM series air amplifier system (for recovery of hot air flow), they provide users with an innovative, efficient, and cost-effective solution for cooling parts, electrical cabinets, and mechanical components — all with a simple connection to the compressed air distribution line.

  • ΔT compared to inlet air temperature: down to –40 °C for the cold air stream and up to +60 °C for the hot air stream
  • Easy installation with flanges or magnets
  • Patented hot air exhaust system in combination with AM series air amplifiers
  • Made from corrosion-resistant material
  • No moving parts — zero wear
  • No need for electrical or chemical cooling products
  • No sparks or other interference
  • Instant operation
  • Reliable and maintenance-free

Cooler Air Saving – Patented System

The VR series coolers and AM series air amplifiers are used together to generate cold air while simultaneously extracting hot air from an electrical cabinet, using a single compressed air supply line.

  • Effective ventilation of electrical cabinets
  • Reduced compressed air consumption
  • Optimized cooling performance

Regardless of how much cold air is generated in the electrical cabinet, cooling efficiency will never be optimal if the warm air generated by the electrical components is not ventilated at the same time. By ventilation, we mean both the creation of convection currents inside the cabinet that effectively distribute air around the components, as well as the actual extraction of warm air from the cabinet itself.

Using Simian Project's patented "Cooler Air Saving" system, we get two results: first, using the VR series cooler, we get fast and accurate cooling of the components that heat up the cabinet the most, thanks to the flexibility of installation and the fact that the flow of cold air can be precisely directed at the main heat sources (using adjustable nozzles); second, the electrical cabinet is properly ventilated thanks to the extraction and blowing power generated by the AM series air amplifiers, which are powered directly by the air flow from the VR cooler.
